SGTech sets up STAR Fund to support tech SMEs as they drive digital transformation in Singapore

SGTech has introduced a ‘Stronger Together, Aiding Recovery’ (STAR) Fund aimed at helping tech SMEs in Singapore support the digital transformation of other SMEs. Supported by Facebook and Enterprise Singapore, the STAR Fund will assist SGTech members in training and reskilling their workforce, in order to harness new digital capabilities and/or deepen current skills; or to grow their business.


Singapore Data Centres Sustainability Challenge: Fresh Approaches for a Greener, Smarter and Sustainable Data Centre Ecosystem

Over 70 participants from data centre operators, researchers and other experts, regulators, ICT vendors and equipment suppliers convened for an online Sustainability Challenge to suggest fresh approaches in the areas of green data centre operations and best practices, smart data centres, and sustainable data centre design and build.
These ideas are intended to help Singapore meet its pledge to reduce carbon emissions in the Paris Agreement, while supporting growth in data centres here. The Challenge was organised jointly by Engie, SGTech and the Singapore Management University and sponsored by Facebook.
